ACES ON THE MOVE? BELLE
Vue could be the envy of British speedway if plans for a new £6 million
stadium for the Aces come to fruition. The Elite League side have been
in discussions with the local council for some time about proposals for

go-ahead, will be constructed on the site of a council-owned hockey
stadium just up the road from the Aces’ current headquarters at
Kirkmanshulme Lane…Also in this week’s edition, editor Richard Clark
chats to long-serving promoter Dave Pavitt, who is standing down from
his role on the Isle of Wight. Peter Oakes catches up with Charlie
Gjedde who is on the comeback trail with Belle Vue and Brian Burford
concludes his winter series by talking to British engine tuner Ashley
Holloway, who plays a leading role in Emil Sayfutdinov’s pits crew.
