JAMES Shanes (pictured) has become the sixth confirmed member of the Swindon team for 2019.
The former Poole rider moves to Blunsdon to join Jason Doyle, Troy Batchelor, Tobiasz Musielak, Adam Ellis and Dawid Lampart in the Robins' revamped side. Zach Wajtknecht is expected to take the final place in the team after he returns from a winter trip to Australia. "Swindon seems like a great club to be part of," Shanes said. "They've got a lot of history and it's exciting to be going into a new era with the new stadium plans."¨ "I'm pleased to be part of it and they've put together a cracking team so I'm excited to get started."¨ "It was obviously a dream come true for me being at Poole, but things didn't work out in the end and that mishap is behind me now."¨ "I had a good year with Sheffield and Birmingham last year and I feel ready to come back into the Premiership."¨ "I've got a better foundation to jump back into racing at that level now and I think that will show when the season starts."
