LUKE Chessell (pictured) will return after injury to take up a reserve position with Championship side Glasgow next season.
Chessell has not ridden competitively for the last two seasons and explained: "In 2017, I took a year out through choice. I did sign for the Championship then but pulled out. I needed to get some money behind me and wanted to do it properly. "¨ "Then I signed for Stoke to start again in 2018 and broke my leg in America riding motocross."¨ "It was tough "“ I got stuck in hospital out there for four weeks and had two operations, and came home with a load of metalwork in my leg. But you live and learn, and I'm over the worst of it now."
