CHAMPIONSHIP Birmingham are on the look-out for just one more rider to complete their 2021 side after confirming the signings of James Shanes and Valentin Grobauer.
The pair give the Brummies six of their seven riders ahead of the new season with Chris Harris, Ashley Morris, Paco Castagna and Jack Thomas already on the books. Shanes (pictured) said: “It was a no-brainer for me really; I’ve loved every minute of my time with Birmingham so far, I was made to feel really welcome by everyone at the club from the moment I walked through the door and I can’t wait to see everyone there again. “I’m so ready for this year now and I just can’t wait to get back out there.” German star Grobauer added: “I feel so much better prepared as I know how it is now and what I have to be ready on. I am really looking forward to this new chance.”
