OXFORD have plugged the final vacancy in their Premiership team by signing Latvian international Francis Gusts.
The former European Under-19 Champion will be racing in Britain’s Premiership for the first time after agreeing a deal with the Spires and is expected to start at reserve alongside Luke Killeen, pending confirmation of his assessed average Oxford boss Jamie Courtney said: “I have worked day and night to find the right seven riders for Oxford. In the end, I am delighted to have signed Francis. “He is young and enthusiastic, exciting to watch and is someone destined for good things in this sport. Most importantly he wants to be a part of what we are creating at Oxford.”
