PETERBOROUGH have re-signed Bradley Wilson-Dean (pictured) as a replacement for the injured Nike Lunna.
The New Zealander, who was on the Panthers' books last season, returns to the East of England Arena after a short-term stint with Workington. He takes over from Lunna, who broke his ankle in a crash at Scunthorpe last Friday while guesting for Workington. Promoter Ged Rathbone said: "It's very unfortunate for Nike, who has been a pleasure to deal with, but it looks like he is going to be out for at least six weeks and we really can't cover for that length of absence. "We keep saying it's a short season this year and we felt we couldn't afford to risk letting things run away from us by continuing to use rider replacement. "If it's mid-to-late July before Nike gets back, then that's a big chunk of the season gone, so we've had to act to maintain our strength and hopefully our position in the table. "Bradley knows ourselves and the track well so I'm confident he will slot straight back in, and he certainly showed us what he can do when he rode here with Workington recently."
