THE 2020 British season officially came to an end at Belle Vue on Thursday night when Swindon’s Jason Doyle lifted the Peter Craven Memorial Trophy for the third year running.
The Aussie dropped only one point to finish top of the qualifying scorechart and then won a six-rider final from Dan Bewley and Brady Kurtz to clinch the title. Doyle said: “It couldn’t have been a better end to the season for me. I was a late addition to the meeting, but I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to take part on a fantastic night. “It’s been a tough year for everyone, especially the boys that have been riding in Europe, and for me to win three Peter Cravens on the bounce is just amazing. “The six-man Final was quite interesting. I don’t think it’s ever been done at Belle Vue before, but the boys got stuck in, we rode safe and it was a thoroughly enjoyable meeting.”
