ADAM Ellis is to join Sheffield where he will link up with former Swindon team-mate Troy Batchelor.
Ellis, like Batchelor, was left without a Premiership track when the Robins declined to enter the league this year. But now he will make the move north to link up with the Tigers. Ellis said: "I'm really excited to have signed for Sheffield this season. It's a club I've wanted to race for for a few years now, and I want to thank Marc and Damien Bates and Simon Stead for having me on board in 2021. "The news coming from the UK looks really positive at the moment, so fingers crossed we can get the season started in May with fans on the terraces. "It's still a worrying time for the sport worldwide but Britain and the vaccine seems to be in a much better place. I can't wait to catch up with the boys at Sheffield and go racing."
